Rep Acting Troupe

The Gulf Coast Rep will hold open auditions for anyone 16 or older for a resident acting troupe. We are looking for all ages and looks to fill sixteen slots in our troupe. Acting experience or training is not necessary. If you have talent, abilities, and are serious about the craft, we want to see you at auditions. 

Act? Sing? Dance? Juggle? Play an instrument? We need to see it all.

WHO SHOULD AUDITION

If the items on this list fit you, we hope you will fill out the Google Form below and join us for the open call. 

• Love theatre and film/TV acting

• Have a thirst for learning

• Can commit 2 hours a week for training

• You want to create great art!

THE OPPORTUNITY

Here's the "skinny" on the Troupe:

• If selected, you must commit to two hours a week of training in acting, voice (speaking/singing), improvisation, and movement at The Rep

• If selected, you must be serious. You must have a positive and professional mindset.

• If selected, you will have opportunties to be paid for your work. (At the Rep and beyond)

• If selected, you will have the opportunity to train with industry professionals to help you develop your craft. 

• If selected, the training is at no charge to you.

• You are able  and encouraged to continue auditioning for work outside the Rep to support the arts community in our area and beyond. 

OPEN CALL AUDITIONS for THE TROUPE

Saturday, August 23rd - 10:00 a.m.

Sunday, August 24th - 2:00 p.m.

Auditions will be held at The Gulf Coast Rep in downtown OWA

(Located between Starbucks and Waffles R Wild)
